Project: Everything But...

The international touring exhibitions department at the British Council commissioned Practise to design the catalogue for ‘Everything But... -- Contemporary British Kitchenware’, featuring work by British designers like Sue Pryke, Hub, Hanne Rysgaard, Unity Peg and Dai Rees.

Working together with photographer Angela Moore, the various contents of the exhibition were taken around a collection of friends' kitchens in London, placing the (sometimes very valuable) craft pieces and design products in everyday situations: on dish drainers, by radiators, stacked on shelves.

For the typography, sometime collaborator Laurenz Brunner and myself subtly edited a classic Colin Brignall font and then appended pipes and light-fittings to it.
