The first in a new ‘Cycles’ series of tileable patterns based on continuous cycles in nature (the water cycle, photosynthesis, birds and bees, etc.). Water Cycle's first manifestation was as a wall-print in ‘The Free Library’ exhibition during April-May 2004.

The ‘Cycle’ patterns are made for application to logical materials relating to each subject. The next ‘Water Cycle’ project will be screen-printed bathroom tiles, to be made as a prototype for a family member's new house in New Zealand.
