This title sequence was the first project made under the name Practise. I was commissioned by director Celia Lowenstein to create the opening for a six-part documentary series hosted and written by philosophy writer Alain de Botton. The 20 second sequence was composed of various super-8 and mini-DV films I shot in the street, from trains and sequences using lights and projectors in a studio, and letraset moved by hand over a lightbox. The titles are set in my font Standard.
